It is vital that all people in Ontario, including people living with HIV, have access to prescription medications.
Ontario has a number of drug benefit programs that assist many people with the cost of medications and many employers have prescription drug benefits, but some people are not eligible and many people do not have full coverage of their prescription medication costs.
The Advisory Council on the Implementation of National Pharmacare is “leading a national dialogue on how to implement affordable national pharmacare for Canadians and their families, employers and governments.”
The Advisory Council is planning a Town Hall (Community Dialogue Session) in Toronto on Monday, September 24, 2018, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. that is open to everyone. Here is a link to register for the Town Hall: https://www.letstalkhealth.ca/pharmacare/faqs#question3693.
