LifeLabs customer health information breach

LifeLabs is a private company that conducts diagnostic tests including standard/specialized lab testing (e.g., bloodwork), genetic/naturopathic testing, and heart monitoring.

On December 17, 2019, LifeLabs announced a data breach of Ontario and British Columbia customer information. The information includes name, address, email, login, passwords, date of birth, health card number and some lab test results. Media reports indicate that information of up to 15,000,000 people in Canada may have been accessed.

People living with HIV in Ontario  can contact us for advice about this matter.
