HIV is not a crime – Ryan Peck giving free lunchtime lecture on February 13 in London

HIV IS NOT A CRIME: Calling for an end to Canada’s overly broad criminalization of HIV non-disclosure.

Ryan Peck, HALCO executive director and lawyer, argues that Canada has unfortunately become a world leader when it comes to prosecuting people with HIV. This lecture will explore the use of the criminal law in relation to HIV non-disclosure and highlight law reform efforts to bring the law in line with up-to-date science and human rights principles.
